In the name of culture…

I was strolling with one of friends , suddenly we started discussing about recent attack of SHRI RAM SENA on some pub of Bangaluru.
My friend: saving our culture is becoming a conundrum.
Me: is it really?
He: yes look at those girls, they are smoking there. (pointing his finger to nearest shop where some girls were smoking)
Me: is smoking wrong or it has something to do with girls only?
He: obviously yar, one cant expect a girl to smoke.
Me: have you ever visited to any village?
He: yes sometimes.
Me: well I belong to village and I have seen many women smoking beedis, hukkas etc. so do you think they are also wrong or just it is applicable to women belong to cities only?
He was confused what to answer now. He tried to change his point.
He: no I mean, these girls are just *****. Don’t you know behavior of girls. They just try to be gf of every boy.
I sarcastically commented.
Me: as if you are satisfied with one girl only.
He: no I mean it is wrong for girls.
Me: so you mean to say there are different laws for women and men. Am I right?
He: yaar its not in our culture. ( he tried to save himself).
Me: ohh… so what exactly is culture for you.
He: leave it yaar.
Me: no I need answer because I just want to know in which culture we are living. Is it same for you and I or not.
He: yar you know it well I am talking about our Indian culture, smoking and drinking for women is prohibited in it.
Me: as it is allowed for men. Is it allowed? If yes then please show me reference.
He was once again puzzled and tried to play family-family game once again.
He: ok leave culture aside, will you allow your daughter for same.
Now I was confused because even I was not sure about answer.
He: see even you don’t have answer, just because you are also bounded to this culture.
Me: well I know my answer, and it will remain same for both girl and boy.
He: theoretically you may be right but practically you are wrong my friend. And I respect what shri ram sena did in bangaluru.
Me: well I don’t know I am right or wrong but I know what shri raam sena did was not at all in our culture. We belong to a culture where we have more goddesses than gods. Where we worship female first than male, e.g. radha-krishna, sita-ram, shakti-shiva etc. prove me if I am wrong. And if any chance you think beating girls was right then you should stop saying I our culture because I don’t think our culture allows beating girls.
Above incident is clearly showing mindsets of people. We are becoming vultures and wolves day by day.
I was shocked to read comments from old citizens of greater noida village that it was just a rape.
JUST A RAPE!!!
Bloody you are not only raping girl but also her soul, her family our society. Girls are not sex objects for god sake. Today we need some more SENA but not to beat girls. But to teach people about our real culture our real society. We need revolution not in our country but in our mindset first. We need to change our as well thinking of other people.

Today I read in news that they are planning to ban noodle straps and tight jeans.

Next they might ban bra as it is a product of Paris.

I don't know what they wear while beating up girls(they target girls as they will be easier to dominate) but I doubt if they wear lungis while displaying their act of shame.
